Vendor Application

This application is for advertisers and vendors for the Ignite Your Spark annual conference.

Bag Advertiser: At the event each attendee will receive an event bag. To place a product and/or marketing collateral in these bags, please select the Bag Insert option.

Vendor: During the annual conference there is over 10 hours of expo time for the attendees and the general public. There are 40 available booth spots during the event. To apply for a booth, select the “10×10 booth” option on the application below. Each booth includes a draped 8′ table and two chairs. The booth spaces will not be provided a pipe and draped section to provide a more “boutique” feel. Each vendor will provide their own signage and booth decor to create the look and feel that supports their brand.

Selection Process:
1. Applications for the Ignite Your Spark event are due no later than November 31, 2009; payment must be made in full no later than December 10, 2009.
2. Illuminated Woman Executive committee reviews applications to ensure that the applicant aligns with the Illuminated Woman vision.
3. Candidates who are approved as vendors and/or advertisers will be notified and further details will be provided at that time.

We are looking for businesses who:

  • Want to reach a female demographic ages 25-54. We target conscious, committed women who actively invest in their personal development.
  • Have integrity-based businesses that provide high-value, high-quality products and/or services.
  • We love local and national businesses.
  • Are approachable, friendly and have a professional demeanor and appearance.

Booth Details and Requirements

  • Booth Investment: $395, vendors may receive a $150 discount when you provide product samples for the 175 VIP bags
  • There are 40 available booth spaces. We want to provide a variety of products to conference attendees, and ensure the greatest marketing value to our vendors. Therefore, we will accept up to four vendors per category or industry. Space is filled on a first-come, first-served basis for approved vendors.
  • The booth is a  10×10’ booth space that includes one 8’ table with white or black linen and two chairs.
  • Each booth will have a 8” x 30” (approximately) black and white printed sign with the business name.
  • If electricity is needed, there is an additional cost of $45.
  • If internet access is needed, there is additional cost of $45.

Recommended Items for a booth:

  • Signage (table-top, banner stands, floor signs, etc.) Signs must be free-standing or table-top signs. Signs cannot be hung from the ceiling or wall.
  • Business cards
  • Marketing collateral
  • Email capture sign-up list (a form to capture participants names and emails for future follow up)
  • Coupons for attendees to encourage further transactions
  • Product Sales; all products must be pre-approved by the Illuminated Woman committee.
  • To capture email addresses for your future marketing outreach, have a contest or drawing that people enter at your booth.
  • All event vendors will receive a packet from the Utah State Tax Commission. You are responsible for submitting your sales tax accordingly from your sales.

Bag Inserts

  • Bag Insert Investment: $395, or receive a $150 discount if you would like to place a product sample of approximately $10 retail value in each of the 215 VIP bags.
  • Another way to get exposure for your business is by placing a flyer or product in the attendee bags. This is a great way to advertise to a captive audience of women while creating brand exposure for your business. Each attendee will receive a canvas-type bag at check-in.
  • Our recommendation is to have your flyer serve as a coupon or have a call to action on the flyer to create further contact from the attendees after the event.
  • Bag inserts are also kept to a maximum of two businesses per category or industry.
  • Items for bag placement are provided on behalf of the business.
