Illuminated Woman is a movement, a light, and a way of being to fulfill the possibilities of love, peace, and wholeness for everyone to experience in the world. Women are natural nurturers and have power and grace that provide the space for men and women to live in their true essence and that essence is beautiful and grand. Illuminated Woman is built on the foundation that everyone, regardless of upbringing, circumstances, or beliefs, are incredible beings full of abundance and greatness. Sometimes life presents experiences so that we forget our greatness, but even in those times, our greatness is still there simply waiting to be uncovered and remembered again. It takes just one light for many to see and Illuminated Woman is gathering the masses to be a bigger light where even more can see and REMEMBER their greatness. This is the place that supports everyone to know that their light matters and that they make a difference.
Our current initiative is our 2009 annual conference where we will announce scholarships and support for numerous causes including funding for women to get annual breast and cervical exams to prevent cancer and environmental efforts to plant more trees and support Mother Earth. More details on our efforts will be live by June 10 so check back soon. Through our events, education, mentorship programs, scholarships and humanitarian work, women and teens transform cycles of domestic violence, abuse, and addiction into empowered, fulfilled lives of peace and confidence. Illuminated Woman is strengthening the world, one woman, teen and community at a time.

Meet the Founder:

CEO, Founder & Visionary – Angela Johnson

After spending almost a decade in the marketing communications arena for small businesses, Angela has embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and passion to empower women, and is now CEO and Owner of Biz Divas, Soul Vision Strategies and Illuminated Woman, which is the home of the Ignite Your Spark event. All three businesses support her drive to strengthen the world by empowering women of all ages.

Being an optimist at heart, Angela believes that world peace is possible in her lifetime and has committed her life’s work to doing what she can to make this happen. This work starts in her own life, family, community, then spans out to other parts of the world. Having many opportunities to work with women and entrepreneurs with Biz Divas, Angela is excited to expand this momentum with Illuminated Woman where other passionate, driven leaders are gathering to transform the world through empowering women.
